Greek Myths immersive tour set inside the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Could also be used for a film set
Greek Myths Tour
For my final degree project I re-designed the interior of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, to replicate ancient Greek life and the Greek myths.
- Location: Ashmolean Museum, Oxford
- Designer Alice Clelland
- Period Ancient Greece (Classical Period)
- Date September 2017/ June 2018
Below is an animation I created using Sketch-up & V-Ray, to show the journey through my museum and to really help get an idea for the atmosphere inside of the exhibition.
Below are photos from my final degree show exhibition at Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts, London. For my final project I designed an immersive tour and or film set inside the Ashmolean museum, based on the Greek myths. On top of creating designs, visuals, technical drawings and models of my rooms, I also created a white card model of the exterior and interior of the Ashmolean and proposed how I would change rooms to suit my Greek theme. I created a virtual and 3D model of a Greek artefact from the Ashmolean museum that could be used in an exhibition and or film set.
